10 Years of Sailing Ximufully!

Can you believe it?
It’s been 10 full years since our 2 yachts Ximula & Gracefully arrived in Singapore, and 9+ years since we’ve started Ximula Sail.

It feels like a blink of an eye, yet also a non-stop adventure of a journey. We overcame some intense curveballs, especially the pandemic, which hit us left right front back with all kinds of restrictions that change almost overnight too many times and had us say farewell to many of our regular guests who have since moved out of Singapore, but we’ve also welcomed many new guests and celebrated many highs, like:

Welcoming a new baby into our fleet - this beautiful sailboat Epicurean,
The launch of our new department - Yacht Care Services (right in the heat of the pandemic lockdowns some more!)
Rediscovering new beautiful islands together with so many of you during our sailing holidays within Singapore,
Five full years of open sunset cruises every Tuesday,
Relaunch of our sailing holidays to overseas island destinations, such as the nearby Tioman Island or the further away Anambas Islands,
Organizing our first all-ladies cruise on International Women’s Day (yes, even an all-female crew!)
Having our entire team finally all become certified divers so we could celebrate with a team dive retreat in the Philippines, and
Being able to welcome and train the next generation of crew in partnership with ITE Maritime Business School’s internship programme.

To commemorate our 9+ years in business and the 10th birthday of Ximula & Gracefully, we brought together all our partners, clients and guests for a small dockside get-together to thank everyone for your support over the years.

Did you know? The last we organized our birthday party was back in 2019 when our yachts were 6 years old! With the event’s success, we had intended to organize this on an annual basis, but had to put all our plans on hold due to the pandemic. We’re so glad we can finally put this together this year!

Due to space constraints, we were only able to invite guests from our past 3 years of charters (please feel free to come after us if you didn’t receive the invite, but do forgive us!)

We had so much fun catching up with every single one of you, thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come all the way to the south and join us for this joyous celebration. Thank you all also for participating so enthusiastically in all our activities - the wine sampling sessions, our signature message-in-a-bottle exchange, the trivia quizzes, and listening to our under-prepared but very heartfelt thank you speeches. <3 Many thank you hearts to all those who brought or sent us congratulatory gifts and flowers - you didn’t have to, but they are all well received and very appreciated!
