ROLE: DECKHAND (FULL-TIME)

As a Deckhand, you will be part of our small but growing Yacht Care department, reporting to our Chief Engineer and assisting with the maintenance of our own yachts and client yachts. You will be responsible and accountable for the following duties:

A) General Yacht Operations & Maintenance

  • Assist the Charter Team to ensure safe operation of our yachts Ximula , Gracefully and Epicurean.

  • Assist the Chief Engineer to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the our yachts and its equipment, such that they are clean, well-maintained and always in tip-top, charter-ready condition.

  • Assist the Chief Engineer to maintain inventory of working tools, spare parts, supplies and other items onboard.

B) Yacht Care Services

  • Manage the upkeep and maintenance of our client yachts according to respective clients’ requirements.

  • Work together with the Yacht Care team to plan and manage the Yacht Care schedule.

  • Provide a report after each day of work to the Chief Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Singaporean/PR only

  • Previous working experience in the cleaning / hospitality / yachting / auto industry is a plus

  • Any technical / engineering knowledge is a plus

  • Any boating / sailing experience is a plus

Personality

  • Physically fit and can work tirelessly under rain or shine

  • Enjoy working with his hands and generally likes to DIY when it comes to fixing things

  • Have a keen eye for details - able to notice unpolished areas

  • Responsible, reliable and takes ownership of his/her duties

  • Self-motivated and can work independently

Availability

  • Available to start immediately

  • Able to work 5 days a week
